Cindy, love your DIY solutions! I have a floor question / big challenge for you. We have the original carpet in our master bedroom and want to change it up. We have newly installed hardwood floor in the hall outside the room (as part of a recent reno). I would like to update the master now but we just can’t logistically fit in new hardwood to the bedroom (moving out for the sanding and staining etc.) What are your thoughts on mixing wood flooring? Engineered hardwood or click flooring butting up to hardwood? Do we try to match the flooring or go something completely different (e.g., light, or distressed wood look etc.). We have a dog so I don’t really want to lay carpet again. I am really regretting not stretching to include the master in the original reno. Thanks in advance.

If you're heading away this weekend I hope you get to stay in a guest room like this one overlooking the water and completely secluded from the main house. So serene and relaxing. #projectgeorgianbay It only took me two years to finally decide what fabric to use for romans blinds in my kitchen. It was worth the wait! This @ferrickmason fabric from @memo_showroom is everything I hoped it would be. Fabulous fabricating by @tonicliving as always! I'm loving how my late Grandmothers chair is fitting into this corner of my family room now that she's been revived by @restylestudioto Not only is it adding extra seating but also a home for my new favourite @tonicliving pillow!! #crazypillowlady Three cheers for sunny, slow, relaxing Sunday mornings. ☕️☀️
